How Can Precordial Catch Syndrome Causing Intense Pain Be Relieved?

I have Precordial catch syndrome but it s never lasted longer than an hour. I usually get in every few months and the pain is usually tolerable. But I ve had it for two days straight now and the pain is much more intense this time. Any ideas on how to relieve some of this pain?

Hello. Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
To give a good answer to this query I need to know your age, and relation of this catch to food intake or hunger. Any way avoid hunger, drink lot of water, antacid might give you some relief during acute phase.
Take Tab Pantoprazole for about 2 weeks, you will be benefited.
If you are 35 plus get your cardiac profile done in consultation with your doctor.
Good Luck.
