General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Plantar fasciitis is mainly a clinical diagnosis, which can be confirmed with an MRI scan. There are 3 main plantar fascia stretching exercises, which I could explain directly on one to one basis.

However, it may be also obtained from the internet, or a Podiatric Surgeon could explain the same to you. These stretching exercises should be done with gradual pull to the plantar fascia.

Over a period of 4 to 6 months, the fascia reaches its normal length and you are relieved of the pain. Also important is to always use soft pressure distributing insoles in your footwear with a 7 millimeter medial arch support. Materials like Poron, Silicon, Plastazote, EVA are appropriate.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ajit Kumar Varma
