How Can Persistent Breathing Difficulties, Cough And Mucus Be Treated?

I have difficulty breathing for 19 days now, using a breathing machine at home with albuterol. Not getting much better. Hacking and coughing up thick green, yellow, Brown mucus. This comes out when blowing my nose also. I have been getting this every few months and very difficult to get rid of it.

Hello welcome to the health care magic

You are suffering from chronic bronchitis like condition as per history

You needs to do work up as follow.....
_Auscultation first
_chest x ray to look for any consolidation or interstitial fibrosis if present
_pulmonary function test to check if any obstructive or restrictive lung disease if present
_sputum cytology and culture

According to your reports further treatment plan decided...

If PFT indicate chronic bronchitis like obstructive lung disease then ipratropium bromide like inhalation therapy can be started for that

If asthma present than prophylactic salmeterol and steroid combination started
