I need to finish my period before i travel which still has 7 days to go....please advise?

hello,
Thank you for your query.
I need to know what medications you took.
If you already started your period, just let it continue and it should get over by the time you travel, provided you dont have any issues with prolonged bleeding.
If you are sexually active and your periods are regular, please take a pregnancy test. it may be negative this early in the cycle. So,e women experience, implantation bleed which is light and lasts for a few hours. this is when the embryo lodges into the uterus.
If the test is negative, and there is no bleeding, take another test around the time when your period is due (a day later than the due date)
as you had bleeding , I would advice not to take any medications now and to just allow the flow to continue.
If there is no further bleeding for another 2 days, see an obgyn to check for the cause of the bleed.
hope this helps. wish you good health
