How Can Periods Be Postponed?

Hello Dr.I am 31 years old female...on 21st there is a marriage function in my house . I have consultant a doc for prepone my periods and Doctor gave deviry 10 mg two tablets from 6th May to 10th May and told to wait 2 to 3 days to get the normal periods. I have seen negative responses in online. This medicine will help or please do suggest which medicine will be good for postpone. Please do suggest.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
What doctor has given medication does have an effect in helping you to postpone your periods.
You need to take such tablet as suggested 2 or 3 days before you expect your periods to happen.
After you take the medication for the specified period, you need to get your periods by 5 to 7 days.
In case you do not the periods by 10 days, you need to seek medical attention promptly.
