How Can Painful Varicose Veins In The Lower Abdomen Be Treated?

Hi. I had surgery fri night an found out I have varicose veins covering my bladder completely and it’s probbaly the major source of all the pain i have been in. My OBGYN did my surgery. I still have yet to see a urologist. I need to find one in my plan. He told me this isn’t curable. But it is rare and can be very painful. I’m hoping to find a urologist who may be able to offer me some means of relief. I’m hoping maybe there is a procedure out there offered- I know leg varicose veins have different treatments.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you should consider visiting an urologist. He can recommend you embolisation with cystoscope. It will relieve you from pain.
