My young son has problems with eczema all his life. It was thought to be because of his being on amoxicillin from birth to approx age 6. I was told it would clear up but it never really has. Winter seems to be the worst time of year for him. I ve tried many prescription drugs but they all seem to make his skin raise up into welts and cause him burning pain. The only thing I ever found to help clear it up and relieve his itching was a spray on hydration lotion made by st Ives. It has been discontinued. He s having problems with his back and small bumps on his face and chest. Any suggestions on how I can help him?
