How Can Pain In The Wrist After An Injury Be Treated?

my 86 year old sister fell and fracture her wrist. the orthopedic doctor put her in a cast. few days later she started to complain of pain? burning? in her fingers and she could not stand the cast. the doctor removed the cast and gave her a removable cast. her arm started burning?. I though may be it is allergy. I put a sleeve under the cast. it helped . Now she still feel tingling in her fingers. what can Hdone

Hi,there!

Its possible allergy, but hand must be in sling to avoid swelling of the palm.
Haematoma that occurs after fracture is flowing by gravity, if hand is lowered.
You must keep hand at the level of navel.
Sleep in beach position and put a pillow under her elbow.
