How Can Pain In The Hands After An Injury Be Treated?

Two weeks ago I fell slamming my face and hand into a piece of furniture. the next day I notice my hand was hurting and I saw what looks like a blood vessel bulging slightly out of the palm of my right hand. I was a little concern because it looks maybe a blood clot the size of a pea. I brush off the idea but it s still there still hurts when it s touched only (like a bruise) but it s been so long I wondering if I should get it looked at. Oh it s about half the size now

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

That is due to internal injury which lead to rupture of superficial vessels and causing hematoma or bruise nothing much should be done it will heal on its own. If pain is unbearable you can have OTC pain killer.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
