How Can Pain In External Occipital Protuberance Be Treated?
I have pain in external occipital protrubance pain from a week..i feel swelling on left side external occipital protrubance ..i have pain if i touch there otherwise not..what it can be? I feel some uncomfortness on sternocleidomastoid also..plz help me..bcz of some reason i can not go to the hospital..i hv more use of neck muscle also

this pain in ext occipital protuberance is due to the inflammation which can be due to trauma or some other reason and pain in sternocleoid muscle to sprain. you should take some NSAIDs to relieve pain and hot compression therapy will relieve the symptoms
