General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

C-section stitches can be painful. While the discharge may indicate infection and daily cleaning and bandage is necessary. We recommend using some painkiller like ibuprofen for the pain. Once it's healing and infection is controlled I hope this would be fine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
