How Can Pain And Swelling In The Upper Thigh Be Treated?

I had a blood clot in my leg 2 years ago and am no longer taking blood thinners. Will the fish oil help with keeping my blood a little thinner so I do not have to worry as much about getting another clot. I also have some swelling still in my upper thigh from this and was told not to take Ibuprophen anymore, but sometimes my thigh still aches.

Hello,

You may take omega 3 fatty acids no problem. They are useful for heart and vascular health. Also useful in reducing cholesterol reduction.

But present swelling may take tablet Chymoral Forte. Avoid NSAIDS. If pain is not controlled you may take tramadol if necessary.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
