How Can Pain And Swelling In The Small Finger Be Treated?
My 10 year old daughter hurt her pinky 2 days ago playing a game at church. At first it looked bruised but is now regular color. She is still hurting only when she attempts to bend it. It looks like there may me slight swelling (very little). Should I take her to the ER for x-rays?

Hello,
It was better to put ice on it for the first 24 hours and dont move it for 48 hours and keep hand elevated to lower swallowing. Give acetaminophen for pain.
