How Can Pain And Numbness In The Fingers Be Treated?

I recently had a distal radius fracture of my right wrist. Had the case on for 6 weeks, had it off for a little more than a week now. Have experienced quite a lot of pain, especially at night, and numbness in fingers and thumb. It is improving, but wonder how normal this is , and how long I can expect this? Should I continue to do physio excercises even though I am experiencing this?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

We have to rule out neuropathic causes as they can cause similar symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
