How Can Pain And Inflammation In The Knees Be Treated?

2 years after knee replacement surgery, there is still inflammation, swelling, and pain. Also there is a solid mass behind my knee and a firm mass on the outside of the quads on that knee (right knee). I have had numerous x-rays, a CT scan, a bone scan and an indium scan, and blood analysis. Nothing unusual is showing on any of the tests. I believe the problem lies in the muscles and connective tissue around the knee. What might my next step be in trying to fine the cause of the problem. I have daily pain, and the more I use the knee (bicycling, walking , and strength training) there is more pain. Thanks for any help Eva
