How Can Osteoarthritis On The Left Knee Be Treated?

I have recently found out I have osteo arthritis calcification in my left knee. I was given Meloxicam and a creme version. it is around the ligament. Can it be arthoscopically corrected and if so who would you recommend in the Long Beach or Los Angeles area?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If the disease has involved only the ligament, you can try for arthroscopic repair. If symptoms persist knee replacement may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
