General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I am sorry you are having congestion problems. It seems that you are suffering of chronic allergy. Now, we should understand what the cause is. So, I highly recommend to consult with pneumologist (lung specialist) first to rule out any respiratory issues. Plus, ENT specialist to consult to rule out any abnormality of the nasal cavity. Next, allergy testing to run to determine what the real allergen is. Meanwhile, apply vapor rub on your chest or on nose sides each time you feel congested. Use room humidifiers to keep it well humidified.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further queries.
