Hi my son is 45 years old and he is a smoker for the more than 15 years he has a lot of health problems he is due to have major surgery on Wed. I took his cig s and he is having a fit. what are the effects of him stopping he is in the hospital and can t buy any. What should I do as his mother?

can the hospital provide him a nicotine patch. If he smokes a pack a day he should receive 21mg nicotine in patch form
