How Can Necrosis Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer about the same time I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a mastectomy then started radiation treatment for the cervical cancer in August of 2016 for 5 weeks Monday through Friday. Concurrently I had 3 treatments of Cisplatin for both the breast and cervical cancer, then went through 6 rounds of carb, taxel and Herceptin one every 3 weeks. That is complete. Currently, I have Herceptin treatment one time every 3 weeks. I was recently told I had necrosis from the radiation to my cervical cancer. I am feeling ill. Am I ill from the Herceptin treatments or the necrosis. No treatment of the necrosis was suggested. Should I find a physician who treats necrosis and how is it treated?

Hello dear. As far as i know the only treatment for necrosis is amputation till the healthy tissue. This means to remove the necrotic part to healthy border and let the wound heal. While Herceptine is one of the ultimate and effective anti hormone receptor drugs. It doesn't give any not well being effect but a quiet a well being one. Hope you get well soon. Best regards.
