1) What are the sx of macular degeneration and what s the difference between the Wet and the Dry? 2) Is the diagnostic test for it the Split Lamp exam? Hello,

Sx of dry and macular degeneration are mainly looking of black spots in vision plus gradually or suddenly loss of a vision. Certain tests are available to diagnose it. Optical coherence tomography or Amsler grid test, etc., they will look for swollen and abnormal growth of vessels behind retina in wet macular degeneration in dry they will rule out we. Treatment is possible in wet degeneration but in case of dry it's mainly symptomatic treatment. So, kindly look good ophthalmology doctor nearby and have early diagnosis and treatment.
