General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Corticosteroid ointments or creams are commonly prescribed for lichen sclerosus.

So, I would suggest you to continue using corticosteroid ointments.

Other treatment options can be immune-modulating medications, such as Tacrolimus and ultraviolet light treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
