How Can Kidney Stones Be Removed?

I have had kidney stones in the past. I have been having right kidney pain for a couple of months now. It has progressed to the point that I can t even do a sit up. When I had kidney stones two years ago the doctor told me I had a larger stone in my right kidney. Is it possible that it has grown larger and now it just plain hurt?

Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I reviewed your query and here is advise.
Of course there is a possibility that your kidney stone may have grown larger.
Visit your urologist for an ultrasound to see the dimensions of it and discuss the way of treatment.
I recommend you to drink lots of water and take buscopan or spasmex for pain.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
