General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Well, he must go to the hospital since it may cause some serious complications such as cholangitis or cholecystitis. Jaundice and fever are serious symptoms so you should not take this risk. He requires antibiotic treatment and admission. And further tests such as ERCP and CT scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
