How Can Itchy Rashes On The Body Be Treated?

Hi I have been suffering from itching which previously did not lead to rashes n would subside with a dose of alerid. but when i consulted abt. 3 weeks later, was prescribed ivermectin n terzine along with diprovate lotion and overa lotion. af 300 weekly 4 tabs. n canesten cream. n was prescribed picon for a white patch on the forehead which has been there for about a year. was fine after 2 days of consulting but again started itching all over with red rashes. so was prescribed with zecort for 5 days and adril {sos}. My question is the white patch is a little obvious now, n the one near eyebrow which was almost invisible is also clearly seen now. im totally confused. could u pls. tell me your opinion regarding the same. General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be an urticaria or eczema.

As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

You can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for itching also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
