How Can Intestinal Tapeworm Infestation Be Diagnosed?

A couple of days ago when I had a loose bowel movement there was something kind of white floating in the toilet. To me it resembled a worm. I looked at pictures and symptoms of tapeworms online but I haven’t really been able to come to any conclusions. I just had another bowel movement that seemed to consist of a bunch of the same worm looking things.
