Skinlite, as you have already mentioned, is a steroid containing preparation which initially gives a positive response but later on continuous and repeated use, skin becomes addicted to it. It is associated with multiple side effects in the form of redness, thinning of skin, excess hair growth, discoloration of skin, telengiectasias and many more. I will strongly recommend you to stop using it at the earliest. Instead you may use a god moisturizer and creams containing depigmenting agents like kojic acid, vitamin C, arbutin, liquorice etc. I hope it helps. Good luck.
