Hi

Greetings from HealthcareMagic!

I had seen your dosage of medicine by which i came to know about your anxiety to control blood pressure. Azilsartan (edarbi) 40 mg is a very good medicine for controlling blood pressure in many cases. Side effects are also minimum for edarbi. You were taking it daily at bed time which is a very right time.Coming to your dosage of drug, the dosage should not be changed frequently. As hypertension is a chronic disease, it takes some time for complete action of drug. So we should continue the same dosage of drug for at least 1 month before checking your BP and changing the dosage. One more important point you have to keep in mind is high blood pressure (hypertension) is a life style disorder. Treatment of life style disorder depends on both medicines and life style changes (diet & activity). My conclusion is that you have to continue the medicine for 1 month along with some changes in your life style. This will be very beneficial and safe method of control of BP for you. Hope you will follow these instructions and get well soon.
