Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Skin pigmentation takes some time to reduce as it depends how deep is the pigmentation. The deep pigmentation never goes away completely, it only reduces. To see an optimal result it is vital to do a combination of many things: good skin treatments + home care regime including good skin products + nutritional supplementation. Also whenever one starts with the chemical peels, it is extremely important to apply sunscreen regularly and strictly at least 20 minutes before you step out and reapply it after 3 to 4 hours.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Smruti Pevekar
