Hi,

You need to take some preventive measures apart from drug therapy. These are:

-Don't smoke
-Avoid carbonated beverages and reduce consumption of acid causing foods and coffee.
-Take eight-hour sleep daily.
-If you have any stress then you need to relax.
-You can continue this medication for 3 to 4 weeks.

However, if it continues after combined drug and preventive strategy you need to report the emergency room for further evaluation.
