How Can High Fever And Chronic Cough In A Child Be Treated?
Hello doctor, my son is 7 years old. He had high fever (102.6 f) and was coughing vigourously. His pediatrician prescribed clamp kid forte and for fever meftal p. Its been 3 days since the antibiotic has been started. Fever is no more. But my son is coughing vigourously still. Day n night whole time he is coughing due to which he gets tired. Plz let me know is it normal and coughing will stop as i complete tje antibiotic course for 6 days?

In respiratory tract infection in children it's more common to see this symptom firstly had he undergone all vaccinations? Secondly, is he allergic?
To rule out these you have to go through some tests and to combat the symptoms he is having now continue antibiotics start an anti-allergic cough syrup.
