How Can Hearing Loss Be Treated?

HI Doctor I am aged at 69 yrs eight years back in left ear there was tinitus taken treatment at ENT doctors Now for the past two years Right ear also hearing loss ENT doctor told it is snsoriel hearing loss and recommended to use hearing aid but i find no improvement by using the hearing aid machines I am able to hear sounds but can not understand the speach by others what is the remedy to rectify hearing loss?

Hello,

At your age of 69 years, sensorineural hearing loss is very common. It is due to age-related nerve degeneration. So hearing aid is the only treatment.

Now a days, better hearing aids are available. So consult another ENT doctor and ask for newer improved hearing aids.
