How Can Fungus On The Toe Nail Be Treated?

I had toenail fungus on 4 nails and treated with a 3 month course of oral lamisil almost a year ago. One nail has grown out completely and free of fungus, one is in the process and looking good. The other two have not grown at all. Is there a chance the root could be damaged? Is there anything else I can try?

Hello,

You have to continue treatment 3-6 months for toenails and 2-3 months for fingernails.

If no improvement please consult your dermatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
