How Can Frequent Loose Stools And Indigestion Be Treated?
hi doctor My father is an heart patient, with diabetes. ( while echo testing they found leakage in valve). they suggested to go for tabletes now. From past 4 days for my father leads to regularly indigestion & regularly loose motion is happening. Can U please let me know how can proceed further.

Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. Heart leaking valves are commonly treated with Diuretics ( for treating swelling on body or high blood pressure OR blood thinners to prevent clotting. Out of these blood thinners can lead to diarrhea & indigestion.In case your father has these side effects.. he should stop the pills & consult the treating doctor for changing dosage or brand of medicine to suit light food & his gut.Till then let him have easily digestible food( light tea, coffee, juices, soups) & sufficient water to prevent dehydration. Thanks.
