How Can Food Poisoning Be Treated?

My kid is 5 years old.he is suffering from food poisoning since last 3 days
He is on oflox 200 twice daily, vitazyme drops twice daily and crocin syrup if fever is present
Diarrhoea is still persisting and he is not able to eat food properly.fever is reoccurring every 5 hours.m giving him ORS and meftagesic p as fever is 102.
Now I have given him enteregermina 1 amp.
Kindly suggest and help

Hello,my name is dr.Dorina Gurabardhi.I understand your concern.
Symtoms of food poisoning consist in:
-abdominal cramps
-diarrhea
-vomiting
-loss of appetite
-mild fever
-weakness
-nausea
-headaches
Some advices that I can give to you are:
-drinks high in electrolytes can be helpful with this
-Avoid caffeine.Decaffeinated teas with soothing herbs like chamomile, peppermint, and dandelion may calm an upset stomach
- medications like Imodium and Pepto-Bismol can help control diarrhea and suppress nausea
-get plenty of rest.
