How Can Fluid Retention In The Lungs Be Treated?
My brother has bone marrow cancer he has been in the hospital for the pneumonia he had a drain tube in and it drained a lot of fluid out of his lungs but they removed it and the fluid started accumulating again I want to know about any side effects or what are they missing not getting rid of the infection

Hi,
It is due to probably from metastasis to lungs he develops fluid retention.
Cancer patients also suffer frequently from infections due to that edema develops.
All it needs tertiary care treatment properly to fix this problem.
Take him to the emergency room for proper treatment strategy.
