Doctor my mother(49) is suffering from gas and acidity..actually she was suffering from small ulcers in her back and many parts of her body for last 6 months and she was taking medicines for it after taking these medicines the problem increased.. So Now She is taking medicines after consulting a m.d medicine doctor.. She feels restlessness in the morning and vomits daily also, sometime her stomach becomes tight. Furthermore After eating anything she feels as all the food is present in the chest and throat.. She takes medicine Pen D in the morning and some other medicines..we consulted chemist for these problems and he told that due to these stomach medicines the problems'll continue till the medicines end.. Hello,

It is the history suggestive of drug-induced gastritis, I would advise reducing the drug particularly NSAID ( non steroid anti-inflammatory drug ) it is the only drug that could induce gastritis due to hypersecretion of acid (Pre-existing ) condition, I would advise you to try tablet Omeprazole once in day for four week and dose needs to be taken at evening time, but most important is to reduce the dose of NSAID or stop it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
