How Can Fever And Cold In An Infant Be Treated?
Hi my 2.5 yr son (11kg) is suffering from fever since3 days along with cold and smelly stools. The doctor has suggested wikoryl 6ml thrice for 3 days along with flora bc 5 ml twice a day. He says its viral but has asked to start with zifi 50 5 ml twice a day if the fever persists for another day. Kindly suggest. My sons fever is rouching 101.5. Thanks.

if it crossed 101 then cold water sponging and head bath can be taken. treatment advised by doctor is correct. if fever continues the investigation to find out cause of fever can be done. it can be malaria enteric fever or uti.
