How Can Fever Along With Cold And Cough Be Treated In A Child?

Hi..My kid is suffering from fever , cough , cold.my doctor has proscribed Synclar dry syrup 125mg/5ml.but he write 3 tim a day but not about how many days I hav to give I am really worried about the dose could u tell me about the doses how many days I should hav to. Given?

Actually dosage and days of medication depends on age of the baby and severity of the symptoms.

Mostly, it is a custom to give antibiotic for at least 5 days and to ensure relief from the symptoms and avoiding developing bacterial resistance.

So, I would suggest for giving the medicine for 5 days in the amount (dosage) advised by the doctor. In case there is no relief then the baby would need re consultation for the extension of medicine for few days or change of the antibiotic.
