General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

There is the document to prove the side effects of edema with statins via alteration in certain electrolytes and renin-angiotensin-aldosterone mechanics.

Evaluation with rest of the hormonal profile according to the clinician concern is mandatory for further management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel,
General Surgeon
