How Can Excessive Sweating While Suffering From Pneumonia Be Treated?
hello my boyfriend has pneumonia. we went to the hospital yesterday and they gave him medicine but he has excessive sweating its really bad he went through 3 t-shirts within 3 hours. my question is to you what should I do for it? how can I help him? is there any way to slow it down?
Sweating is the body's way to expel toxins and lower body temperature. It is not a bad thing and you do not need to do anything to reduce it. Besides medication that your boyfriend is taking to fight the infection, I recommend he drinks plenty of fluids, especially mineral water, in order to replace the fluids he is losing through sweating. I hope he feels better soon. Wishing you both all the best.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ornela Ademovi
