How Can Excessive Ear Wax Buildup With Itching And Odor Be Treated?

I have An unusual ammount of ear wax. ears feel slightly itchy inside plus the wax feels liquified very sticky,it actually runs out my ear when i am laying down plus a terrible odor appears occasionally. had the problem 4 weeks ago i have used ear wax remover it solves the problem but than it comes back i am 40 five foot 5 210 pounds suffer from seasonal allergies no other medical problems

Hello,

You need to be examined your ears by ENT specialist. It may be otitis externa or middle ear infection. Usually wax may not that much excessive and smelling.

In case of allergies you may use tablet monterleukast and levocetrizine once a day for five days.

Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Avoid allergens that aggravating the problem.

If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
