How Can Elevated Blood Sugar Level During Pregnancy Be Treated?

Hi, I am 34 years old. Now I am pregnant (46 days) and my gynecologist prescribed me to take Glycomet sr 500 mg, two times /day. My blood sugar level- fasting blood sugar- 95mg/dl ,after food -103 mg/dl. During my first pregnancy my sugar level slightly increased at the last 3 months, but controlled by proper diet and it was a normal delivery. Now I have a doubt whether i need to take the Glycomet SR 500 MG for this sugar level

yes u should take medicine according to your gynaecologist.. as increase in blood sugar levels has negative effects on baby.. and their is no side effects of glycomet in pregnancy..
