How Can Elevated BP Be Treated?

I take Lisinopril 40mg 1 daily and Metoprolol 50mg 2 daily for blood pressure...it has been running high for the past month or so...today my MD added Hydralazine 25mg 3 times daily. I have taken it 2 times, the second time was with my 2nd metoprolol at 8pm...since then my head has been hurting and heart pounding...bp is 146/88 and hr 73. Is this a normal reaction to these medications? Nevermind...I will check with my MD tomorrow

Please tell your MD to rule other causes for resistant or secondary hypertension.and if possible an abdominal ultrasound would be better.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
