How Can Edema In The Ankles Be Treated?

I have edema of my ankles with 10mg Norvasq and bp is still 150/97. What other options are there. I have tried beta blockers but I like to run and it won t let my hr get ever 130.I have no heart trouble and have always been a triathlete- Iroman up till 3 yrs ago and still work out and enjoy running. I doc the beta blocker per my doctor. I used lisinopril years ago and had issue with syncope. That was 5 years ago, should I try lisinopril again?
