How Can Dry Skin And Brittle Nails Along With Palpitations Be Treated?

I have most of low thyroid symptoms and 2 drs i had in so fl put me on meds. I have palpitations all my life weight has always been difficult to lose and keep off i have dry skin hair and brittle nails. I play doubles tennis 5x per week iwalk per30 min 5x per week and i go to yoga 3x per week i am not over eating I am depressed a lot and when I am done doing my activities i am tired i am 78 my md will not put me on thyroid meds because the blood tests do not show that i need it.

It is possible that your thyroid hormone levels have changed again. You could get the blood tests repeated, as increasing fatigue could be suggestive of hypothyroidism. The dry skin and brittle nails could also be a result of the same. Try using moisturizers. You could also get your vitamin A levels checked as a deficiency in that could also cause your skin to be excessively dry.
