I have an upset stomach. This morning I had quite a bit of diarrhea and vomited a little. No fever. Slight pain in abdominal area which reminds me of gas. Just are a little dinner and feel like I could have another bought it diarrhea. Any suggestions should I watch for to tell me to go get checked?

The symptoms your are describing is suggestive of acute gastroenteritis, most likely viral. Drink plenty of fluids and stay hydrated. Follow liquid diet like soup until diarrhea subsides.Include BRAT (Banana, rice, Apple Sauce and toast) diet for few days after the acute symptoms have subsided. Of you do not notice any improvement in next 2 to 3 days, then possible bacterial gastroenteritis need to be considered and antibiotics need to be initiated.
