Hi,

Antibiotics like Azithral (Azee) cause antibiotic induced loose motion due to disturbance in useful intestinal bacterial flora. I would advise that a probiotic syrup should be added (after discussing with the treating pediatrician) for relief of loose motions. An antihistamine will be helpful to treat cold symptoms and can be added if the pediatrician thinks of its need in your case.

I hope this is helpful to you. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. R A Singh
