How Can Diabetes Along With Hypertension And Dementia Be Treated?

My mother is 87 yoa, has been sleeping 15 to 18 hours daily x 2 weeks. She has dementia, diabetes, hypertension. Takes warfarin, Lantus, simvastatin, prazosin, donepezil, hydralazine, glipizide, duloxetine, amolodipine. The only change has been that her waking blood sugars are finally below 200.

Hello,

Her blood sugar is high, so need to increase the dose of insulin at night, if blood pressure normal means continue Prazocine, Hydralazine and Amlodipine drugs.

If she is very sleepy, then decrease the dose of Duloxetine drug. Please consult your physician for further evaluation and treatment.
