Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Dermatomyositis is treated with corticosteroids, antimetabolites like methotrexate or Azathioprine, Rituximab or antimalarial medication is useful.

Along with that physical therapy, if swallowing difficult means dietetic therapy, speech therapy.Intravenous immunoglobulin may useful.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
