How Can Constant Headaches Be Treated?

Good afternoon! My name is Alaina and I have been having headaches. I have a history with migraines but these are different. I thought that it was hormonally related but hormone replacement therapy didn t work and neither did birth control. I have a history with neurological issues and was wondering if it could also be neurological. I am a former leukemia patient who is trying to survive college but constant headaches are making it hard. Please tell me the best course of action.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

With such presentations in my clinic, I would rule out headaches related to intracranial by doing a clinical examination as well as MRI scanning. If confirmed the main pathological cause of headache, you will be advised treatment accordingly. Now a days lot of internal procedures are done by endoscopic methods. So nothing to be worried at all.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
